Go Fourth in Fashion

“Baby you’re a firework/Come on let your colors burst.”  – Katy Perry

We love our independence, don’t we?  While you’re out there saying, “Happy Birthday, America,” make sure to do so in style. Here in the Square are the hot trends that help you shine like the 4th of July.

From American Threads, this is a great look for a backyard BBQ or 4th of July picnic, so you can be stylish while staying cool in the Texas heat!  This lightweight linen top in red, white and blue is perfect to celebrate the U.S. of A., while the day glow denim skirt with a frayed hem will carry you right through fall. Some falling star drop earrings?  Why not!

From Talbots, this look says, “Why hello there, summer!” in the most sophisticated way possible.  Pair these gingham girlfriend chino shorts in a flattering, comfortable length with this classic white denim jacket and colorful scarf, and you’re good to go celebrate.

Got a date hotter than fireworks?  Then check out this ensemble from Apricot Lane.  These wide-leg denim flares are white-hot and the red, white and blue floral motif on the camisole tie-style top keep it “chill.” (Ya know, because you’re cool as ice.)

Just kidding around? If you’re a kiddo this 4th of July, you have it made in the shade with some great looks from Tyler’s.  These fun ruffled shorts and USA tank by PPLA are the perfect thing to wear to watch your favorite parade go by.  For the guys, some cotton shorts by Billabong are the perfect thing to wear all summer.  Paired with shirts from Southern Marsh and shoes by Sperry, and you’re as “lit” as the fireworks you’re about to enjoy.

For the lover of classic Americana style, don’t miss the beautiful new J. McLaughlin store in Southlake Town Square, where classic, timeless looks for women, men and children have a new home.  We love this sleeveless dress, made from lightweight cotton and sporting some of our favorite colors: red, white and blue.  How pretty will you be at your next summer get-together?

Looking for the perfect place to wear your new look?  Don’t miss Stars & Stripes in Southlake on July 3rd.  Don’t forget to tag us in your photos.  Happy birthday, U.S.A.!
