Festival Fashion

Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!” – Robin Williams

With spring in full bloom and summer nearly upon us, festival season has officially begun – and we know you want to look cooler than Queen Bey herself turning on her own fan at Coachella (a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do to look  fierce!).  From music festivals like Lollapalooza, Fortress Festival, or ACL, to art festivals like Southlake’s own Art in the Square, to good ol’ U.S. of A. family summer celebrations (we see you, Stars and Stripes) – looking our best in festival fashion is a big part of the fun.  Because, you know, #festivallife.

The vibe for festival fashion is a kind of relaxed romance – that bohemian chic that works on everyone and helps us usher in that most playful, ethereal versions of ourselves. Find your best festival fashion in the Square, and don’t forget to share it with us!

Sundance – Check out these fantastic artist’s way pants.  With their care-free, wide-leg cut, trouser pockets and colorful, patterned print, they make for easy-breezy festival wear.

E.Leigh’sDeconstructed denim is having its moment and, when paired with statement sleeves on a summer-sunshine-colored flowy top, you’re ready to enjoy the outdoors. Espadrilles keep the walking easy and stylish.

Soft Surroundings – You will feel like a Grecian goddess of summer in this ready-for-anything knit Alexandra dress.  Curved panels layer over one another front and back to give that flattering drape and high-low hem. Pull it on, pair it with some statement sandals and a floppy hat for that J. Lo chic, and roll out.

American Threads – This new boutique in Southlake Town Square is the home of festival fashion. Looking for that ultimate shorts-and-top combo? This adorable, two-piece set from Native Daughters is available in ivory or red, and features the tassels that have us obsessed at the moment.  High-waisted shorts and a crop top are so much fun this season! Pair with booties and a dainty choker and you’ll be festival-fabulous.

Lily Rain – If enjoying the outdoor sunshine in a more preppy style is your vibe, catch your rays in the Dex poppy blouse and Sabrina gingham skirt. Paired with white tennis shoes, it’s cute, versatile, and easy to wear.

Altar’d State – If your bod is craving some boho style, look no further than this Homestead festival maxi dress. With rows of ruffles and beautifully embroidered flowers, this maxi is ready to be your go-anywhere dress.

Accessories – Any good festival diva knows that the accessories are as important as the original lead guitarist in your favorite band!  From the perfect woven crossbody from American Threads to a fun Camilla Floral fanny pack (yes, we said “fanny pack”) from Francesca’s, you can remain hands-free while footloose and fabulous.  From ponchos (Easy Days Poncho from Sundance) to retro sunnies (Impeccable Pig), fun flats (Authentic Platform Espadrille from Vans) and gladiator sandals (Boardwalk lace-up sandals from Madewell) , your festival fashion best can be seen head to toe.

Which festivals will see your fashionable self this year?
