The September Issue – A Recap
October 4, 2019

On an unseasonably warm September day, dozens of fashionistas gathered at The Marq in Southlake for the second September Issue: Fall Fashion Show and Luncheon.  Attendees were treated to a preview of Southlake Town Square’s finest fall fashions and trends.  This fabulous event was sponsored by Park Place Dealerships with proceeds benefiting The Gatehouse in Grapevine.

Upon arriving, guests perused our pop up shops while sipping champagne, nibbling on light bites from Brio and mingling among friends.  Pop Up Shops were hosted by CoachKendra Scott, Origins, pressed juicery, Williams Sonoma and White House Black Market.

Guests were treated to a delicious lunch featuring beef tenderloin and papaya salad and decadent chocolate mousse cups from Del Frisco’s Grille.

We learned the latest in fall fashion trends from our panelists of local lifestyle influencers.  Led by our emcee, Hilary Kennedy, our panel featured Adriana Cicero @styleageless, Tanya Foster @tanyafosterblog, Samantha Stewart @styleofsam, and Lauren Sun Cummings @raisingtinytexans.  From how to wear white after Labor Day to incorporating animal print into our wardrobe, guests walked away feeling “in-the-know” when it comes to pulling off the most fashionable fall frocks.

The luncheon was capped off with an incredible runway show featuring 18 Southlake Town Square retailers including 7 for All Mankind, Altar’d State, Anthropologie, Apricot Lane, Banana Republic, Coldwater Creek, Draper James, E.Leigh’s, Evereve, J.Crew, J.McLaughlin, Johnny Was, LOFT, Malouf’s, Scout & Molly’s, Travis Mathew, vineyard vines and White House Black Market.

At the end of the event, guests were provided a luxury swag bag loaded with special gifts from our retailers as well as a $25 Southlake Town Square gift card to help them go from seeing it on the runway to putting it in their closet.

It was a fabulous afternoon and we can’t wait to see you all again next year!  Special thanks to Park Place Dealerships, 360 West Magazine, Brio, Del Frisco’s Grille and The Gatehouse.
